Cosmina Summer School 2017 for Innovation Training

  How can science and technology contribute to a better life for all? Are you interested in developing innovative scientific solutions and ideas in the field of water, energy and health?
   The Office of Innovation and Technology Transfer (TAITO) - Tyco - announced that , which lasts for two weeks, a "Training for Innovation - How can science and technology contribute to a better life for all" in the period from 16 to September 29, 2017 in Alexandria, it is a unique opportunity for interested in this  

   Participants at Kosimina Summer School will have a unique opportunity to discuss not only the latest innovations in their fields with experts from Germany and the region, but will also be given to the opportunity to participate in a broad exchange with their peers. This provides a framework for exploring the discourse on innovation in science and technology and understanding the substantive and institutional frameworks as well as the latest developments in research. At the same time, it provides training in methods, management and systems for research and innovation tailored to participants' needs.
    The registration form will be sent until 19 July 2017 at midnight.
    The Summer School of Kosimina will be held at the Alexandria Campus of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (for more information on between 16 and 29 September 2017. To achieve regional diversity and promote intercultural cooperation, Among applicants from the Middle East, North Africa and Germany. The Aviation Affairs Department will sponsor flight bookings and will cover the cost of flights, accommodation and boarding. In addition, mobility will be arranged from the airport to the Alexandria campus of the Academy.

     More specifically, the summer school of Kuzimina includes:
- Extensive presentations and discussions on concrete innovations in water, energy and health with experts from Germany and local partners
- Discussions of advanced methods and research models
- Offers for projects and private institutions and an opportunity to discuss them with peers and experts
- Training in research management and methods such as innovation systems (including but not limited to patents and marketing innovation)
- Information on research funding opportunities
- Communication opportunities for novice researchers to communicate and collaborate
- Various trips within the area
    Who can apply?
Applications are open to junior researchers who are currently pursuing a master's program as well as those who have already graduated with a master's degree. Applicants must show great affinity with technical subjects or demonstrate past experience with research in the thematic areas of Cosimina (such as water, energy and health).

   Required documents include:
- Your
C.V in English
- Postgraduate Diploma (if available)
- Proof of English language proficiency (eg, TOEFL, ELTES, your language certificate from your university, proof of enrollment in an English-speaking program, etc.)
- Speech motivation in English, explains why you want to participate in the Summer Academy, how you can personally benefit from the program and what your project (planning on) to work on it. (The length of the motivation letter must be between 400 - 500 words)

- Please note that only full applications can be considered.

- The deadline for submission of applications is 19 July 2017 midnight. Notifications will be sent on the results of their application as well as invitations to successful applicants to applicants before 27 July 2017.
